THE COTTAGES
Goosehill Hall Cottages were originally farm buildings. Set around the old farmyard, the cottages have traditional thick stone walls and views across the surrounding fields to Winnats Pass and Mam Tor. Approached down a tree-lined drive, the cottages provide the ideal getaway, yet the facilities of the village are at most 10 minutes walk away.

The Barn (sleeps 6) was exactly that. The Barn is the largest cottage with a private garden and a very large living room. It is ideal for larger groups taking more than one cottage - all could meet and/or eat together in The Barn.
The Stables (sleeps 6) is a conversion of farm buildings used as garaging for a Bentley. The Bentley has long gone, but the Stables cottage has been renovated into a light and airy cottage with the old beams visible upstairs.
The Coach House (sleeps 4) retains features which tell its history - a large opening at the front with stone and wooden arches, handmade brick lining, slit windows and an outside staircase. Visitors can enjoy glimpses of the fields and local sheep the through the slits, wide views to Mam Tor and a private sitting area at the top of the outside staircase. (There is an inside staircase as well!)
The Gardener's Cottage (sleeps 4) is a former farm store which has been transformed into a cosy cottage. Old features retained in the renovation are external doorways opened up to let in more light, an intriguing old shutter and substantial wooden beams in the bedrooms. It also enjoys a secluded garden area looking out at hills and sheep. Please note - the bathroom is downstairs and one side of the double bed is under the eaves.
Lettings are for any period of three days or more. A full week, a weekend or a mid-week break - you decide.
