The Coach House.

Approached from the courtyard, the Coach House is entered through the cart opening, now fully glazed to let in light.  Behind are the fields leading up to Speedwell Cavern and Winnats Pass.

 

On the left is the staircase – once used by the coachman this now leads to your own terrace Aloso accessible from the master bedroom, this is an ideal tranquil place for morning coffee, evening drinks – or indeed anytime.

The cottage enjoys underfloor heating (upstairs and down), high speed wifi and easily operated blinds for the large windows when you need some privacy.  Guests will also have the use of a secure Cycle box; useful for your outdoor equipment and muddy boots. 

Downstairs the cottage is open plan. The key features are the original hand made brick lining, the reopened old slit windows and the views to the hills and fields beyond. 

 

The spacious open plan design allows separate dining and seating areas.  

The kitchen is fully fitted, including washer/dryer and dishwasher. 

 

The window from the sink looks out to Mam Tor – some may want to do washing up rather than use the dishwasher!

Upstairs is a double room, a twin room and a shower room.
